Deposit Account brings you instant dealing, with live prices on one-day settlement. This allows you to easily control your portfolio at the touch of a button. Your stock will be held electronically, in either a Nominee or CREST personal member account. You will also have online access to your cash and stock history.
All cash settlement takes place through a Deposit Account Building Society Sharedealing Service interest bearing Deposit Account.

There are 2 commission bands - Regular Trader and Star Trader. Both bands offer a capped rate of £50.

For Regular Traders commission is 0.4% with a minimum charge of £14.50 (maximum £50). Star Traders are at 0.2% with a minimum charge of £14.50 (maximum £50). To qualify for Star Trader status, you must trade 50 times.
Nominee Accounts are charged at £12 + VAT per quarter and CREST personal members accounts at £10 per annum. There is also a £15 + VAT charge per holding, for transferring stock back on to certificate or to another broker from both Nominee and CREST accounts.

Once finished the completed application form will be sent to you by first class post for your authorisation.

On receipt of all the relevant documentation a Nominee Account will be set up in two working days and a CREST account in five working days.
Once enabled we will issue you with a username and password so that you may access your account.
We can provide Internet access on some Deposit Account accounts. If you already have a CREST or Nominee Account with a Deposit Account after giving us some additional information we will send you a Username so you can Log-on to the internet site. You will then be able to view your portfolio and trade online. Unfortunately we cannot offer internet access on a Certificated dealing account.
